C & L Containers, Inc. manufactures and distributes quality shipping and cremation containers for the funeral industry. Beginning in the early 90's we worked closely with funeral directors and funeral leaders to design and develop shipping and cremation containers specific to our industry. Our shipping containers have been individually tested by a third-party agency (MME, Inc.) And adhere to guidelines set forth by the air transport association. C & L Containers, Inc. continues to follow those guidelines as we expand our product line with new designs and innovation.
C & L Containers, Inc. is family owned and operated and understands the needs of our customers. In addition to building quality products with affordable pricing, our main priority is personal customer service. We treat every customer like family, because we believe this industry is family.
History
Lori Russo Eanes and Christopher Williams founded C & L Containers, Inc, in December 2001. Their family has been in the industry since the early 90's and when the family business changed hands, Lori left her career as a police officer and Christopher left his position with the family business, to carry on what the family had started. They built the business from the ground up, working seven days a week, with emphasis on quality, affordability and personal customer service. Unfortunately, Chris suffered from complications with multiple sclerosis and had to leave the business after only two years. Christopher passed on February 27, 2023. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
We have watched this industry grow and change over the years and we are proud our family is a part of its history. C & L Containers, Inc. thanks every past, present and future customer for their support!

Lori is the founder and President of C & L Containers, Inc. Lori, along with her brother Christopher Williams, started the company in 2001. Her family has been in the container business since 1992. Lori is the founder and President of C & L Containers, Inc. Lori, along with her brother Christopher Williams, started the company in 2001. Her family has been in the container business since 1992. Lori holds memberships with the Virginia Funeral Directors Association, Virginia Funeral Supply Association, Tidewater Funeral Directors, and serves on the board of Casket and Funeral Supply Association. Before starting the business, Lori was a Sergeant with the Chesapeake Police Department and served in the United States Air Force Reserves. When not working she enjoys the beach, home remodeling/design and refinishing furniture. Her passion is her family.

Christopher, along with his sister Lori, founded C & L Containers, Inc. Prior to starting the business Christopher worked in Hotel Management, overseeing Standards and Inspections for several large chains. He attended Old Dominion University, majoring in Computer Technology. Unfortunately, Christopher was forced to retire within one year

He attended Old Dominion University, majoring in Computer Technology. Unfortunately, Christopher was forced to retire within one year of starting the business, due to the quick progression of Multiple Sclerosis. After a courageous 26-year fight Christopher passed February 27, 2023. Christopher's knowledge and unwavering support was the foundation of C & L Containers' success. His passing was a huge loss to us all.
